The Kiln Eatery is a unique restaurant experience in Tasmania’s enchanting Huon Valley. We we asked to provide shade cover to external windows in the main restaurant. We installed motorised outdoor blinds using a unique chain guide system that enables the blinds to be locked into position in strong winds. This motorised blind system uses a 12v controller battery and solar panel that enables the blinds to be control inside the restaurant and lowered the the desired height. The fabric we have used in outdoor blind screen fabric, so while it looks solid from the outside, patrons sitting within the restaurant have clear visibility to the outside.
